Frequently Asked Questions

1 - 4 of 4

Q1: May I use it with glasses on? Is there some problem? Talking about the Steiner 10x26 Predator Pro Compact.

A: Steiner 10x26 Predator Pro compact binoculars have eye relief of only 11mm, so you would likely NOT be able to use them with eyeglasses on. You'll need eye relief of at least 16mm.

Q2: do the predator 10x26 bring in enough light for the early morning hunt and the evening hunt when it is dark.

A: Though Steiner binoculars are among the very best in the world during low-light conditions, no 10x26 binocular will have great low-light performance. A 26mm objective lens doesn't let in a great deal of light to begin with, and 10X magnification reduces image brightness significantly. Good low-light binoculars usually have objectives with a 40mm diameter or larger.

Q3: do these binoculars have pull out eye pieces to use with glasses? Thanks, Liz

A: Steiner 10x26 Predator Pro Compact binoculars have fold-down eyecups instead of pull-out adjustment. Eye relief is 11mm, which is too short for use with most eyeglasses.

Q4: It says these are roof prisms - but what kind of roof prsim?

A: Steiner 10x26 Predator Pro Compact binoculars have BaK-4 prisms.
