Q1: Please describe the difference between the travelite zoom from the eagleview zoom cameras. They seem very similar. I was told by someone that the travelite was discontinued. I am comparing the 8-24X25 models. Thank you.
A: The difference has to do with the body shape, the Travelite is more streamlined and ergonomic with indentations for your fingers on the chambers. Also the Zoom placement on the Eagleview the Zoom is a dial on the top of the binocular whereas with the Travelite it is a lever that is located by the eyepiece.
Q2: Does the Eagleview have aspherics? Is the image as good as the Travelite? Thank you. Love your website.
A: Thank you for your inquiry! The EagleView's ARE very comparable to the Travelite series as far as optics are concerned. However, the Travelite series contain the aspherical lenses and the Eagle View's do not.
Q3: What is the difference between 8x25 and 10x25 in binoculars?
A: The difference is literally how many times the naked eye you see with. 8 times the naked eye or 10 times the naked ete.
Q4: Is this model waterproof?
A: Unfortunately, no, the Eagle View Zooms are not waterproof.
